Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Awarding an Honorary Designation to the 55th Separate Sevastopol Order of Kutuzov Helicopter Regiment.
For mass heroism and courage, fortitude and bravery shown by the regiment’s personnel in combat operations to protect the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts, Vladimir Putin resolved to award the honorary Guards designation to the 55th Separate Sevastopol Order of Kutuzov Helicopter Regiment, and from now on it will be referred to as the 55th Separate Sevastopol Guards Order of Kutuzov Helicopter Regiment.
