The President signed Executive Order On Awarding an Honorary Designation to the 50th Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment.
For mass heroism and courage, fortitude and bravery shown by the regiment's personnel in combat operations to protect the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts, the President resolved to award the honorary Guards designation to the 50th Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment. From now on, it will be referred to as the 50th Guards Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment.
