Vladimir Putin sent congratulations to the command and personnel of the 39th Separate Red Banner Guards Motor Rifle Brigade on receiving the honorary Guards designation.
The message reads, in part:
“This is a great honour and recognition of your special achievements, mass heroism and courage, fortitude and bravery demonstrated while protecting the Fatherland and Russia’s state interests.
The brigade’s skilful and resolute actions in the course of the special military operation serve as an example of fulfilling military duty, courage, dedication and high professionalism.
I believe that you, Guards soldiers, will remain loyal to your Oath, serve the Fatherland with honour, reliably ensuring the security and peaceful life of our people.”
