The President signed Executive Order On Awarding the Honorary Guards Designation to the 238th Artillery Brigade.
For mass heroism and courage, fortitude and bravery shown by the brigade’s personnel in combat operations to defend the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts, the President resolved to award the honorary Guards designation to the 238th Artillery Brigade. From now on, it shall be referred to as the 238th Guards Army Artillery Brigade.
