Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Awarding the Honorary Guards Designation to the 332nd Red Banner Detached Helicopter Regiment.
For mass heroism and courage, fortitude and bravery shown by the regiment’s personnel in combat operations to protect the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts, the President resolved to award the honorary Guards designation to the 332nd Red Banner Detached Helicopter Regiment. From now on it shall be referred to as the 332nd Guards Red Banner Detached Helicopter Regiment.
