Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Awarding an Honorary Designation to the Frigate Admiral Makarov.
For mass heroism and courage, fortitude and bravery, displayed by the ship crew in combat operations to protect the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts, the President resolved to award the honorary Guards designation to the Admiral Makarov frigate, which shall from now on be referred to as the Guards Frigate Admiral Makarov.
