Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Awarding an Honorary Designation to the 99th Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment.
For mass heroism and bravery, fortitude and courage shown by the regiment personnel in combat operations to protect the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts, the President resolved to award the honorary Guards designation to the 99th Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment, which shall from now on be referred to as the 99th Guards Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment.
