The President signed Executive Order On Awarding the Honorary Designation to the 1466th Motorised Rifle Regiment.
For mass heroism and courage, fortitude and bravery shown by the regiment personnel in combat operations to defend the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts, the President resolved to award the honorary Guards designation to the 1466th Motorised Rifle Regiment. From now on, it shall be referred to as the 1466th Guards Motorised Rifle Regiment.
