Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Awarding the Honorary Guards Designation to the 1486th Motorised Rifle Regiment.
The President issued an Executive Order to award the honorary Guards designation to the 1486th Motorised Rifle Regiment for mass heroism, bravery, resolve and courage displayed by its personnel during combat actions to defend the Fatherland and state interests during armed conflicts. From now on, it shall be referred to as the 1486th Guards Motorised Rifle Regiment.
