Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Awarding an Honorary Designation to the 136th Separate Guards Uman-Berlin Red Banner, Orders of Suvorov, Kutuzov and Bogdan Khmelnitsky Motor Rifle Brigade.
In order to revive the glorious military historical traditions, educate military personnel in the spirit of devotion to the Fatherland and loyalty to military duty, as well as taking into account the merits of the brigade personnel, the President resolved to award the honorary designation Absheron to the 136th Separate Guards Uman-Berlin Red Banner, Orders of Suvorov, Kutuzov and Bogdan Khmelnitsky Motor Rifle Brigade, which shall from now on be referred to as the 136th Separate Guards Uman-Berlin, Absheron Red Banner, Orders of Suvorov, Kutuzov and Bogdan Khmelnitsky Motor Rifle Brigade.
