Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Conferring the Honorary Guards Designation on the 77th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment.
For mass heroism and courage, fortitude and bravery shown by the regiment’s personnel in combat operations to defend the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts, the President resolved to award the honorary Guards designation to the 77th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment. From now on, it shall be referred to as the 77th Guards Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment.
