The President signed Executive Order On Awarding an Honorary Designation to the 166th Motorised Rifle Regiment.
To foster a spirit of devotion to the Fatherland and loyalty to military duty, the President has resolved to award the honorary designation “named after Twice Hero of the Soviet Union Army General Issa Pliyev” to the 166th Motorised Rifle Regiment. Henceforth, it shall be referred to as the 166th Motorised Rifle Regiment named after Twice Hero of the Soviet Union Army General Issa Pliyev.
