The President signed Executive Order On Conferring an Honorary Designation on the 30th Combat Engineers Regiment.
For mass heroism and bravery, fortitude and courage displayed by the regiment’s personnel during combat operations to defend the Fatherland and uphold state interests in conditions of armed conflicts, the President conferred the honorary Guards designation on the 30th Combat Engineers Regiment, which will henceforth be referred to as the 30th Guards Combat Engineers Regiment.
