Dmitry Medvedev signed an Executive Order on appointing Grigory Naginsky to the post of Deputy Defence Minister of the Russian Federation, relieving him of his duties as the Defence Ministry’s Chief of Quartering and Arrangement and Deputy Defence Minister of the Russian Federation.

The President also signed an Executive Order on appointing Lieutenant General Sergei Zhirov to the post of Head of the Planning and Logistics Operations Coordination Department of the Defence Ministry of the Russian Federation, relieving him of his duties as Chief of Staff and First Deputy Head of Logistics for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Vice Admiral Vladimir Korolev was appointed Commander of the Black Sea Fleet and relieved of his duties as chief of staff and First Deputy Commander of the Northern Fleet.

The same Executive Order relieved Vice Admiral Alexander Kletskov of his duties as Commander of the Black Sea Fleet and dismissed him from military service.
