Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.
The law’s purpose is to establish ‘one-window’ provision of state and municipal services by prohibiting the agencies responsible for providing such services from demanding that applicants provide documents and information that is already available to the state agencies.
The law makes amendments, in particular, to legislative acts regulating the relations in areas of public importance such as granting of state benefits and provision of state social assistance, cadastre registration of real estate and registration of the title to real estate, state registration of civil status, and state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.
