Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On the Composition of the Russian Pobeda (Victory) Organising Committee.
The executive order approves the composition of the Russian Pobeda (Victory) Organising Committee.
President of Russia Vladimir Putin will be Chairman of the Committee. Committee members include representatives of the Presidential Executive Office, Russian Government, Federal Assembly, major faiths, veterans and other public organisations.
The Russian Pobeda (Victory) Organising Committee was established in 2000 to prepare and conduct celebrations marking important events in Russia’s military history, to provide social support to veterans and instil military and patriotic values in young people.
