Vladimir Putin signed Federal Constitutional Law On Amendments to Article 10 of the Federal Constitutional Law on the Russian Federation Government.
The law obliges the Prime Minister, deputy prime ministers and federal ministers to file information on their spending as well as spending by their spouses and minor children concerning deals involving acquisition of land and other real estate, means of transportation, securities, stocks, and also provide information on the sources of money thus spent.
Under the law, spending of the Government members and their spouses and minor children shall be monitored in accordance with the Federal Law On Monitoring Correspondence of Spending and Incomes of State Officials and Other Individuals and presidential executive orders.
