Sergei Kiriyenko, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office, Chairman of the Consultative Commission, chaired a meeting of the State Council Consultative Commission.
The meeting participants discussed the activity of the commission as its new composition was approved by the Presidential Order of July 25, 2018.
Reports were delivered by Presidential Aide, Secretary of the State Council and Deputy Chairman of the Consultative Commission Igor Levitin, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Governor of Kaliningrad Region Anton Alikhanov, Governor of Perm Territory Maxim Reshetnikov and First Deputy Finance Minister Leonid Gorin. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Chairman of the Consultative Commission Vitaly Mutko, Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Yevgeny Bushmin and Minister of Economic Development Maxim Oreshkin.
The meeting concerned topical matters of the regions’ development in view of the tasks set by the President in the Address to the Federation Council and in Executive Order No. 204 On National Goals and Strategic Tasks for Development of the Russian Federation until 2024, dated May 7, 2018.
The meeting set forth the main spheres of work on developing proposals regarding matters that will be further considered by the State Council, the State Council Presidium as well as the Consultative Commission.
