The President approved a list of instructions on the implementation of the Digital Economy of the Russian Federation national programme.
The Government of the Russian Federation has been instructed, in particular, to select the sole contractors for the 2019–2020 procurement by the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of services to connect socially significant facilities to mobile telephone communication networks, including with the use of the infrastructure of the Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network federal state unitary enterprise, as well as to provide these facilities with access to state, municipal and other information systems and to the internet.
The Government has also been instructed to establish an additional condition that the sole contractor for the execution of government contracts should use predominantly Russian-made telecommunications equipment.
