Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to Article 5 of the Federal Law On Protecting Children from Information Harmful to their Health and Development and to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation with the Aim of Protecting Children from Information that Promotes Negation of Traditional Family Values.
The federal law sets the legal basis and administrative liability for promoting non-traditional sexual relations among minors.
The law includes a list of information harmful to children’s health and development and obliges Russian Federation state agencies to take measures to protect children from such information.
