Vladimir Putin congratulated the founders, employees and volunteers of the Podari Zhizn (Gift of Life) charitable foundation on its 10th anniversary.
The message reads, in part:
“I would like to congratulate you on the 10th anniversary of the Podari Zhizn foundation’s establishment.
Throughout these years, your organisation, which unites active, generous people who care about the misfortunes of others, has been involved in a noble and a very valuable effort – rendering real help to children who suffer from severe health problems. Thanks to your sincere care and support, many children defeated the disease and returned to a productive life.
It is important that the foundation’s comprehensive work is an outstanding example of social responsibility. It serves to improve the treatment and quality of life of seriously ill children and their parents, and makes a significant contribution to implementing the state healthcare policy.
