Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law On Monthly Allowances for Families with Children.
In order to retain the positive demographic trends in Russia, the Federal Law provides for additional state support measures, such as introducing a monthly allowance in connection with the birth (adoption) of a first child and (or) a monthly allowance in connection with the birth (adoption) of a second child.
The Federal Law defines, in particular, who has the right to receive the allowance, its size, terms and source of financing.
