Vladimir Putin signed the Executive Order On Establishing the Russian Public and State Organisation Children’s Protection Fund.
In order to consolidate the efforts of the state and civil society institutions to protect children's rights and to create conditions conducive to their comprehensive development and upbringing, the President has resolved to create the Children’s Protection Fund, a Russian public and state organisation.
The Executive Order, in particular, establishes that the founder of the Children's Protection Fund on behalf of the Russian Federation is the Ministry of Education, and also that the founders include the Russian Children's Fund, a national public charity, and the International Association of Children's Funds, a union of public funds.
The Government of the Russian Federation was given instructions regarding the property of the Children’s Protection Fund and the procedure for granting it budget subsidies and financial support for measures related to its creation and activities.
