The President approved a list of instructions following a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Talent and Success Foundation, which took place on November 13, 2020.
The instructions to the Government of the Russian Federation concern the drafting of regulations that ensure the functioning of the Sirius federal territory, including the economic principles of its activities, funding of construction of the general education cluster facilities located in the Sirius federal territory, and financing of activities of the Sirius University of Science and Technology using federal budget allocations.
The Government was also instructed to consider the holding of the Year of Mathematics in the Russian Federation in 2023.
In addition, the instructions to the Government concern budget funding of measures on organising additional professional training for teachers of regional centres for revealing, supporting and developing the abilities and talents of children and youth; participation of these regional centres and the Talent and Success Foundation in holding a national academic competition on general education subjects: mathematics, informatics, chemistry, biology, astronomy and physics; and transfer by Gazprom of a centre of martial arts after the completion of its construction to the Talent and Success Foundation.
Instructions to the Government, together with the Talent and Success Foundation, concern professional and advanced training of personnel involved in physical fitness and sports, using the facilities and options of the Talent and Success Foundation and the Russian International Olympic University.
Separate instructions were given to the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Culture, the Krasnoyarsk Territory administration and theFederal Agency for State Property Management (Rosimushchestvo).
