Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to the participants and guests of the Russian Youth Forum of Social Vocation.
The message reads, in part:
“Today St Petersburg is welcoming a large and close-knit team of participants from different Russian regions. All of you are united by a sincere desire to help develop the social sphere, increase the effectiveness of interaction between state organisations, civil society institutions and volunteers in this key area.
Let me emphasise that Russia has always been famous for its traditions of compassion, charity and selfless service to the Fatherland. It is important that you, representatives of the younger generation, remain committed to these enduring moral values and the principles of humanism and compassion. You do a great deal to support people facing difficult situations who need care and attention. I would especially note the all-round assistance you provide to the participants and veterans of the special military operation, their families and loved ones.
I believe that during the forum you will exchange experience and formulate proposals that will be translated into real deeds and initiatives.”
