Dmitry Medvedev signed two Federal Laws introducing amendments to the Civil Procedure Code, the Labour Code and Federal Law On State Registration of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs.
The first law removes a number of barriers to adoption from family law by simplifying the adoption procedure for the child’s stepmother/stepfather.
The second law restricts access of individuals with a criminal record or facing charges for certain crimes, to employment in education, healthcare, social security and services for children, including jobs in sports, culture and arts involving minors.
