President of the People'S Republic of China Hu Jintao: Mr President, I am very glad to meet with you again after just two weeks. The contacts between China's and Russia's leadership at the highest level have been very intensive this year. We have already met three times. In the course of these meetings, we have exchanged opinions on issues related to bilateral relations, as well as other matters of mutual interest.
Relevant agencies of our states are making active efforts to implement our agreement, thereby moving forward the development of Russian-Chinese relations. China is satisfied with the progress and achievements made in bilateral ties with Russia.
President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev: Mr President, I am also very pleased to have this opportunity to see you again after such a short time, after just two weeks, and to continue our constructive exchange of opinions. Such frequent meetings reflect the friendly nature of our partnership and relations. Two weeks ago we discussed regional issues, and today we have met at the G20 Summit to review the economy.
Naturally, we are also going to assess our bilateral economic ties and review the progress made in implementing the instructions we issued. We could also discuss preparations for my upcoming visit to the People's Republic of China and other key events in our relations this year.
