During the telephone conversation with President-elect of the Federative Republic of Brazil Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Vladimir Putin congratulated him on his victory in the election and wished him success in his public activities ahead of his presidential inauguration on January 1, 2023.

Both sides expressed confidence that the Russian-Brazilian strategic partnership will continue to develop successfully in all areas, along with cooperation in the international arena, including within Background information BRICS BRICS.
