Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
The presidents discussed the progress of Russia’s special military operation to protect Donbass civilians. Vladimir Putin pointed out that the tasks of the operation, which is proceeding as planned, are underway and will be fully implemented. The President of Belarus expressed support for Russia.
They also touched upon issues related to the second round of talks between the delegations of Russia and Ukraine, held in Belarus.
It has been agreed to continue contacts.
