Dmitry Medvedev and Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj discussed current bilateral cooperation issues following on from Mr Medvedev’s visit to Mongolia in August 2009.
The two presidents agreed to instruct their relevant ministries and agencies to speed up work on implementing the agreements reached during Mr Medvedev’s 2009 visit.
Mr Medvedev welcomed Mr Elbegdorj’s participation in the fourth General Session of the Convention of World Mongolians, which will take place in Ulan-Ude on July 15–17, 2010, and wished this influential international forum successful work.
Dmitry Medvedev also congratulated Mr Elbegdorj and all the friendly Mongolian people on the upcoming Naadam festival (July 11–13).
The conversation took place at Mongolia’s initiative.
