Dmitry Medvedev sent his condolences to President of South Africa Jacob Zuma following a train accident.
The message reads, in part:
“It was with deep empathy that I received the news about the train accident that occurred in a suburb of Johannesburg, resulting in many victims.
Please pass on my words of sincere sympathy and support to everyone who has found themselves in the midst of this tragedy.”
Three hundred people were injured, with at least fifty in critical condition, following the collision of two commuter trains.
