Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the 25th anniversary of the republic’s independence.
The President highly commended Tajikistan’s success in tackling issues of economic, social, research and technological development and in achieving international respect over this period.
Vladimir Putin also praised the dynamic development of Russia-Tajikistan relations in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance, the strengthening of constructive political dialogue and bilateral cooperation in many areas, as well as interaction within the CIS, CSTO, SCO and other multilateral organisations.
The President expressed confidence in the continued development of all aspects of bilateral relations in the interests of the friendly nations of Russia and Tajikistan and in keeping with the policy of strengthening regional stability and security.
