The message reads, in part:

“Throughout many years of your activity as president, you have earned well-deserved respect among your compatriots as well as high recognition abroad. Under your leadership, Tajikistan is confidently advancing on its path of economic and social development, and playing an important role in regional and international affairs.

Your personal contribution to enhancing our countries’ strategic partnership and alliance, as well as to boosting mutually beneficial ties within the CSTO, the CIS and the SCO, cannot be overestimated.

I will be glad to continue our constructive dialogue and close cooperation in solving pressing issues in Russia-Tajikistan relations.”
