The President will meet on September 25 with Prime Minister of Luxembourg Jean-Claude Juncker, who will be on a working visit to Russia on September 24–27 at Mr Putin’s invitation.
The two leaders will examine and exchange views on all the main bilateral and international issues. The agenda will include, in particular, measures against the global economic and financial crisis, including in the eurozone, work on important projects such as introduction of visa-free travel between Russia and the European Union and the conclusion of a new Russia-EU framework agreement, and further development of interregional contacts.
The parties will also discuss matters pertaining to trade and economic, financial and investment partnerships, since Luxembourg is one of the three biggest investors in the Russian economy.
