Vladimir Putin had a working meeting with Governor of Orenburg Region Yury Berg to discuss the region’s socioeconomic situation, spring sowing campaign, and cooperation with the neighbouring regions in Kazakhstan as part of deepening Eurasian integration.
During the meeting, Mr Berg requested to be allowed to terminate his mandate early in order to take part in the gubernatorial election that will take place in Orenburg Region in September 2014.
