Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The two leaders noted the high level of bilateral cooperation and stated their resolve to develop these ties further.
Mr Putin and Mr Aliyev also exchanged views on regional issues, including settlement in Nagorno-Karabakh. Mr Putin reiterated Russia’s readiness to do everything it can to facilitate a peaceful solution to the problem.
