Vladimir Putin congratulated President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the country’s national holiday – Republic Day.
The President of Russia highlighted Azerbaijan’s achievements in the social sphere, the economy, science and technology, and its authority on the international arena.
Mr Putin highly assessed the level of Russian-Azerbaijani relations, their political dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas. He also expressed confidence in the further expansion of the entire range of bilateral relations and partnership cooperation in resolving urgent issues of the regional and international agenda in the interests of both nations.
