Vladimir Putin congratulated President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the country’s national holiday, Republic Day.
In his congratulatory message, the President of Russia noted Azerbaijan’s achievements in the economy, social sector, science and technology and other areas, and also stressed the country’s prestige in the world and an important role it plays in solving current issues on the international agenda.
The Russian leader also spoke highly of the dynamic progress in the Russia-Azerbaijan relations in the spirit of strategic partnership, a meaningful dialogue at all levels and mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.
Vladimir Putin expressed confidence in the further broadening of the complete range of bilateral relations in the interest of the two countries’ friendly peoples and in the spirit of improving regional stability and security.
