Vladimir Putin sincerely congratulated President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on his re-election and wished him success in his high post.
The parties reaffirmed their mutual resolve to further promote strategic partnership between Russia and Azerbaijan and to expand the mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas.
Earlier the President of Russia sent a message of greetings to Ilham Aliyev.
