Dmitry Medvedev instructed Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoys to federal districts to organise monitoring in a number of areas.
The instructions stipulate the monitoring of:
- availability at pharmacy chain of essential medicines in sufficient quantity and range, as well as their prices;
- fees for carrying out mandatory technical inspection of vehicles;
- uninterrupted supply to the market of petroleum and other engine fuels, as well as their market prices;
- failure-free operation of municipal infrastructure facilities and the availability of the necessary energy resources.
The plenipotentiary envoys have also been charged with taking appropriate measures in cooperation with federal and regional authorities immediately upon identifying problems.
