Developing a tourism cluster in North Ossetia was one of the main subjects on the agenda. In particular, Mr Medvedev expressed confidence that the project will help resolve the region’s unemployment problems.
The tourism cluster development project will see the construction of five world-class ski resorts in the North Caucasus by 2020 and will involve the stage-by-stage creation of more than 330,000 jobs in the region.
