Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin chaired the 35th meeting of the Russian Pobeda (Victory) Organising Committee.
The meeting was attended by members of the Pobeda committee, heads of its working groups, members of the Government Cabinet, Moscow and Moscow Region executive agencies, and heads of public veterans organisations.
The meeting addressed issues of strengthening cooperation between veterans organisations in CIS nations and other nearby and faraway states in the interest of preserving the common historical heritage and educating the young generation. Participants in the meeting also discussed the outcomes of celebrating the 69th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War this year and preparations for celebrating the 70th anniversary of Victory.
