Vladimir Putin held a working meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin and Head of Roscosmos Igor Komarov to discuss development of the Vostochny Space Launch Centre and improvements to the space sector in general.
Mr Rogozin and Mr Komarov briefed the President on measures taken following the investigation into the causes of a postponement in the first launch of a Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket from the Vostochny Space Launch Centre, including personnel decisions regarding Leonid Shalimov, general director of the Research and Development Association of Automatics named after Academician Semikhatov.
