Head of the Federal Service for Financial Monitoring (Rosfinmonitoring) Yury Chikhanchin briefed Vladimir Putin on the system for monitoring use of funds during organisation and execution of state defence procurement contracts.
Establishing a system to monitor how state defence procurement funds are spent was one of the tasks on the list of instructions drawn up following Mr Putin’s Presidential Address to the Federal Assembly on December 4, 2014. Mr Chikhanchin described in detail how the system works and spoke about the tasks still ahead.
