The message reads, in part:

“Relations between our countries are based on a solid foundation of traditionally friendly and mutually beneficial ties. It is vitally important that today the Russian-Norwegian cooperation is developing rapidly in all key areas. I am confident that the future strengthening of a genuinely friendly partnership is in the fundamental interests of our nations.

I have warm memories of our meeting in Oslo in April 2010 and would like to reiterate that Russia will always be honoured to welcome you and Her Majesty Queen Sonja.

I am certain that a constructive political dialogue will continue to make a significant contribution to the Russian-Norwegian cooperation and play a major part in ensuring European stability and security.”
