Vladimir Putin congratulated President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev on the Independence Day national holiday.
In his message, the President assessed highly the successful and steady development in bilateral relations in a spirit of mutual trust and strategic partnership.
“Kyrgyzstan’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union opens up new opportunities for building closer integration ties in various areas,” the Russian leader said.
Mr Putin expressed confidence that continued diversification of the mutually advantageous cooperation between the two countries is in the fundamental interests of both peoples and will contribute to maintaining stability and security in Central Asia.
