Visit to the Government Coordination Centre

April 13, 2021, Moscow

Accompanied by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Vladimir Putin visited the Coordination Centre of the Russian Federation Government.

The President was shown how the electronic portal of national projects and the navigation system for using the capabilities of national projects for the Russian people were working; he also toured the co-working area and the situation centre.

The President was informed about the new arrangement of the Government's work and the implementation of national goals using the Coordination Centre’s capabilities, as well as the results of making use of the Coordination Centre resources in resolving social issues.

The Government Coordination Centre was created on February 12, 2021 to ensure interaction between the federal ministries and departments, regions and organisations in the process of tackling routine and emergency situations, and to support the fulfilment of priority goals and projects identified by the President and the Government.

The Coordination Centre’s activities rely on modern digital technologies, including a special project management system, a risk management system for the socioeconomic advancement in Russia, a multimodal system for collecting feedback from the citizens, a data analysis system and other systems. Big data is coming in real time, including from the government information systems of various levels and other sources.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is in charge of the Centre’s strategic and general management. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko is acting as the head of the Coordination Centre.
