On February 12 Vladimir Putin will meet in Moscow with President of Finland Sauli Niinistö, who will be in Russia on a working visit on February 11–13, 2013 at Mr Putin’s invitation.
The two Presidents will coordinate action in key areas of bilateral cooperation in trade, economy and investments. The Finnish delegation will include business community leaders, in order to hold more detailed and concrete discussions of practical matters.
Interregional, European, and international relations will also be on the agenda. In particular, there will be an exchange of views on cooperation through the EU-Russia partnership, in the UN, and in the international regional organisations in the Baltic region and North Europe in general.
The last Russian-Finnish summit took place on June 22, 2012 on the sidelines of the XVI St Petersburg International Economic Forum.
