Vladimir Putin signed a list of instructions following the Russian Popular Front (ONF) public movement’s forum Quality Education for the Country’s Good on October 15, 2014.
The Presidential Executive Office together with the Russian Popular Front public movement were instructed to hold a discussion of issues pertaining to the cultivation of moral values and creating conditions for their development as well as creating a single education space in Russia that would involve both professionals and the public. They have also been instructed to prepare proposals on measures to shape Russian civic identity and to support projects to socialise children and teenagers.
Instructions to the Government deal, among other things, with education opportunities for people with disabilities and physically challenged persons, assessment of higher education establishments’ activities and training school students for international competitions in general education subjects.
Instructions to the Government together with regional executive bodies deal with assessment of activities and remunerations of teaching professionals, development of inclusive education and training of engineering and teaching professionals.
Instructions to the Ministry of Education and Science deal with creating a single education space on the territory of the Russian Federation.
