Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Puchkov briefed Vladimir Putin on the rescue and restoration work underway in flood-affected areas of Primorye Territory.
The President instructed Mr Puchkov to speed up the work required to assess the damage caused to property, get Government assistance to the flood victims, and restore in full communications and power supply to the affected districts.
On Mr Putin’s instruction, Mr Puchkov is now heading for Primorye Territory.
